Portmagee-St Finians Bay 6-16

Portmagee (Irish: An Caladh, meaning 'the ferry') is a village in County Kerry, Ireland. The village is located on the Iveragh peninsula south of Valentia Island, and is known locally as 'the ferry', in reference to its purpose as a crossing point to the island.
br> This is the jumping off point to get to the Skelligs. Skellig Michael is where "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi" were filmed. Alas, we could not make the trip due to high seas. We stayed in a nearby B&B

We visited local castle ruins and a ring fort. We also have pictures of the kitties from the B&B we stayed at.
